As we continue to bask in Blue Ribbon glory, we are excited to welcome you and your family to celebrate with us at the upcoming 5th annual FREE “Taste of Prescott” event on Saturday, October 26th, 5-8pm.
We hope that you can join us for some irresistible potluck food, music, arts and crafts. For extra fun this year kids are invited to come dressed up as a character from your favorite book! Prizes will be awarded for the best costume. No scary horror/Halloween themes please.
As many of you know, our food tables are always a showcase of Prescott’s diversity! Please kindly bring your favorite dish to share with other families. We will have adequate supplies of steam trays, sternos, wire racks, power outlets and serving utensils.
To minimize waste this year, we are busy collecting donated plates, cups and glassware. Please feel free to bring items and add to our planet-friendly collection!
Each year we are fundraising for different school needs. This year we will be fundraising for materials to build new garden beds and benches in the Prescott playground.
This special Prescott community celebration will be held at Chicago Art Department at 1932 South Halsted, Suite 100 in Pilsen donated by Most Visual http://mostvis.com
Beer for our event has been donated by Chicago’s own (and family-owned) LaGrow Organic Beer Co.: Big shout out to Jim Javenkoski for making the magic happen once again.
