Welcome Pack

We want to welcome your family to our Prescott school community. The Welcome Pack’s mission is to facilitate an easy transition into Prescott for new families. The Welcome Pack, made up of parent volunteers is here to provide answers to frequently asked questions through our online FAQ sheet, as well as by providing an email address for new parents to reach out to us personally. We also plan meet ups with and without students to welcome new families into our ever growing community. Our goal is to help every new family feel comfortable at Prescott before school even starts. If there is a question we were unable to answer here, please reach out to PrescottWelcomePack@gmail.com and we will help you in any way we can.

Drop Off/Pick Up

  •  What is Kiss N Go?

8:30-8:45am Kiss N Go is only available for morning drop off.  Kiss N Go allows for parents to drive their child to school and drop them off without having to park and get out of the car. Kiss N Go should only be utilized by parents whose children know where to go to find their designated line up spot. Kiss N Go is parent run and there are not enough volunteers for parents to walk children from the car to their line up spot outside. Instead volunteers ensure that children get to the gate safely and/or inside safely, if there is inclement weather. More information about Kiss N Go, how to access, and do’s/don’ts are available here.

  •  Where do I drop my child off?

Drop off is outside in the parking lot/playground area for all children. Children learn where their line up area is for their class on the first day of school. They can play on the playground until the bell rings and then they line up. Teachers and our security guard walk children to their designated area based on who their teacher is until they are comfortable walking to their spot on their own. Parents are not allowed to walk their children to their classroom line. If there is inclement weather, students go right into the school and they have a designated line up spot in the cafeteria.

  • How does pick up work?

Classroom numbers are marked on the sidewalks on Wrightwood and Marshfield streets and parents wait for their child at the designated pick up area. Students must give their teacher a high five before leaving.

Uniforms

  • Prescott’s uniform policy can be found here. All students must dress in the Prescott uniform polo shirt which can be purchased at http://getshirtsfast.com/prescott
