Who was your favorite teacher? Ms. Accord-She was very funny and made learning interesting and fun.
What did Prescott students do that made you proud last year? It made me proud to see my students improve in their conflict resolution strategies. They became very independent by the end of the year!
What are your hopes and dreams for your students? Especially with a large class size, that my children can find their voice in the classroom. That they learn to navigate the social/emotional environment by adopting useful conflict resolution strategies. And finally, that they build a strong foundation of learning to take with them throughout their school years.
What do you hope to accomplish as an educator? The implementation of a new science unit aligned with our new NGSS science standards.
For my students this year, I promise…To give you the time and space you need to learn. I promise to present content to you in a variety of ways in order for you to learn. I promise to provide a safe and nurturing environment for you to learn.
For my colleagues this year, I promise…To speak with you directly when an issue arises and not climb the ladder of inference before I do so. I promise to make time for you when you need support (especially in cognitive coaching). To new teachers, I promise to make myself available for you while you are learning to navigate your new school.

Who was your favorite teacher?
One of my favorites was my Kindergarten teacher, Miss Liss. I liked the way her name sounded. I liked the songs we sang together, her warm smile, and the beautiful baby dolls she had for the children to play with.
What did Prescott students do that made you proud last year?
I am proud of providing multiple opportunities for young children to express their hopes and dreams through play, artwork, storytelling, song, and friendship.
What are your hopes and dreams for your students?
I want every student and their family to know that they belong and have important things to contribute to our classroom and school. I want every cI hope to provide a gentle, joyful, and intellectually rich start to their schooling lives.
What do you hope to accomplish as an educator? I hope to become a great Kindergarten teacher. I have wonderful colleagues who will help me travel the path towards this goal.
