Looking to enroll at Prescott for Fall 2020?

There are separate processes for students who live in the neighborhood and those who live outside the neighborhood attendance boundaries. Check the CPS school locator here to determine your status. Follow the directions below based upon your neighborhood status.

IN-NEIGHBORHOOD STUDENTS:

Step 1: Bring your child’s original birth certificate (we’ll make a copy) and two proofs of address (driver’s license, piece of mail) to the main entrance any day between 9am-10am. Ring the doorbell and a school administrator will meet you to give you an enrollment packet (practicing social distancing).

Step 2: Return the enrollment packet within one week between 9-10am daily by ringing the doorbell.

Step 3: Classroom placements, supply lists and teacher communication will begin in mid-August.

Step 4: Send an email to prescottschoolchicago@gmail.com to get registered for school-wide communication.

Step 5: Visit prescottparents.com to get the latest updates!

Step 6: Contact the Welcome Pack with any questions about Prescott and our community at prescottwelcomepack@gmail.com!

OUT-OF-NEIGHBORHOOD STUDENTS

Step 1: Apply through the CPS city-wide lottery via GoCPS. Please note that the deadline for the first round lottery has already passed (Dec. 2019), but there will be a supplemental lottery that runs through June. You will receive communication from GoCPS if you are offered a seat at Prescott or placed on the waitlist.
