Dear Parents and Friends of Prescott Elementary School,
Our sense of community at Prescott is strong and getting stronger every day.
It’s the way we show up for each other and for our students. It’s the way our kids feel like they belong. It’s the way we find ways to come together, especially in challenging times.
On Saturday, March 12, 2022, we have an opportunity to come together once again.
The 2022 Prescott Parents Annual Benefit, hosted by Prescott Parents at the Ivy Room (12 East Ohio) from 7:00 – 11:00 pm, will be a chance for us to connect, have some fun together and show our support for Prescott students. Dress code is cocktail attire. It’s a fun adults-night out, full of socializing and dancing, a charity casino, drinks, and food, plus an auction featuring student artwork, one-of-a-kind teacher experiences for students, and fantastic items donated by neighboring businesses. This is the largest annual fundraiser for Prescott School.
There are significant funding shortfalls in the Chicago Public Schools system and our students rely on donations to Prescott Parents so Prescott Elementary can fill this void. Every dollar contributed to Prescott Parents directly supports student success.
Visit http://e.givesmart.com/events/nTw to buy early bird event tickets, only $55 per person through February 6. Starting February 7, the ticket price will increase to $65 per person. Family Sponsorships are also available with event tickets and raffle tickets included in the package. You can also sponsor a teacher or staff member to attend.
Our students have remained resilient throughout the pandemic. The majority of our fundraising goal this year will support critical components of our school’s budget that can help students thrive, including increased technology; improvements to facilities; increased professional learning that help teachers better support students; support for athletic teams, arts and agricultural clubs; as well as essential supplies and expenses required for day-to-day school operations.
In the weeks leading up to this event, we’ll be sharing ideas for ways you can use your time, treasure and/or talent to support the success of this event, to strengthen our school community, and to support our children’s education.
Please see the attached FAQ regarding event details as well as COVID-19 protocols.
With Gratitude,
The Prescott Parents Board
