Today, Prescott School Counselor Marisa Mathews was surprised by Illinois School Counselor Association Executive Vince Walsh-Rock with the IL School Counselor of the Year Award. The Prescott Rock Band played and the 3-5th graders cheered and sang along with Ms. Mathews. All students received a IL School Counselor of the Year tee shirt to wear proudly in the summer and next school year. Photos and more details will be in the Friday newsletter.
