LOOKING TO ENROLL AT PRESCOTT? TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR HERE!

There are different processes for students who live within the neighborhood and students who live outside the neighborhood attendance boundaries. Check the CPS school locator here to determine your status!   Follow the directions below based upon your neighborhood status or if you live outside the neighborhood (meaning you were given a spot through GoCPS).

STUDENTS WHO LIVE WITHIN THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

  1. Complete the attached registration forms and return them along with the required documents below.
  2. Send an email to prescottschoolchicago@gmail.com to get registered for school-wide communication and prescottwelcomepack@gmail.com to be contacted by our Welcome Pack.

STUDENTS WHO LIVE OUTSIDE THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

  1. Apply through the CPS city-wide lottery via GoCPS.. You will receive communication from GoCPS if you are offered a seat at Prescott or placed on the waitlist.
  2. Complete the attached registration forms  and return them along with the required documents below.
  3. Send an email to prescottschoolchicago@gmail.com to get registered for school-wide communication and prescottwelcomepack@gmail.com to be contacted by our Welcome Pack.

ALL NEW ENROLLMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS FOR PROOF OF GUARDIANSHIP AND RESIDENCY:

  • Original Birth Certificate of a child being enrolled and/or Proof of Child Custody (for proof of guardianship)
  • Valid Government ID (for proof of guardianship and residency)
  • Current Lease or Mortgage statement (for proof of residency)
  • Current Utility Bill (for proof of residency), USPS change of address or other piece of mail showing your address (for proof of residency)

All documents must be submitted AT THE SAME TIME.  Documents can be submitted on the dates below and CANNOT be accepted electronically.

    • 4:00-4:30 pm last names A-M
    • 4:30-5:00 pm last names N-Z 
    • Feel free to join the community popsicle party afterwards at Wrightwood Park across the street.
